GoGetParty Terms of Use
Read the terms governing use of the GoGetParty platform.
GoGetParty Terms of Use
1. About the platform
1.1. GoGetParty helps users find and list services for celebrations and events. The operator is GO GET PARTY SIA, registration number 40203667883, Putnu iela 14-14, Rīga, LV-1058, Latvija. The company is not registered for VAT. Contact: [email protected].
1.2. GoGetParty provides a platform and planning tools but does not organise events or provide suppliers’ services. The service contract is concluded directly between the customer and the supplier. Each party is responsible for its own obligations; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Accounts and suppliers
2.1. Users can register with an email address and password or through Google and Facebook. Users must provide accurate information, protect access to their accounts and report suspected account compromise. A supplier’s representative must be authorised to act on its behalf.
2.2. Suppliers may be companies registered in Latvia or individuals with registered economic activity in Latvia. They are responsible for the lawfulness of their services and any necessary permits.
3. Listings and reviews
3.1. The supplier is responsible for the accuracy of descriptions, prices and service availability and for the rights to photographs and texts. Pricing must be clear; where it depends on conditions, the calculation method and any mandatory additional charges must be stated.
3.2. The team reviews the content of a listing before its first publication. This is not a verification of service quality or a guarantee of the supplier’s reliability. Subsequent changes appear immediately; the supplier is responsible for their content.
3.3. The team also creates listings using information from websites and social media and then contacts the supplier. The supplier can register and take control of the listing after their connection to the supplier has been confirmed by telephone or email. At the supplier’s request, the listing is removed without requiring registration.
3.4. Registered users can leave reviews without confirming an order. Reviews must describe genuine experiences. Fabricated reviews, unlawful content, fraud, threats and infringement of others’ rights are prohibited.
3.5. By default, the catalogue displays the newest listings first. If the user selects another available sorting option, the selected order applies.
4. Communication and payment
4.1. Customers currently contact suppliers through chat or at the published telephone number. The parties agree directly on the service, date, price, payment and cancellation. A message alone does not confirm an order. Calendar bookings and WhatsApp have not yet been launched.
4.2. Listings and the platform’s available features are currently free of charge. GoGetParty does not collect customers’ payments for suppliers’ services: payments are made directly. Disputes concerning performance, cancellation and refunds of such payments are addressed with the supplier, without affecting the customer’s mandatory rights.
4.3. Paid listings and promotion may be introduced in the future. Prices, periods and rules will be presented before an order is placed. Activation will require the supplier’s confirmation; no charge will be made for the preceding free period.
5. Photographs and texts
5.1. Rights to materials remain with their rights holders. The supplier authorises GoGetParty to store and display the materials free of charge for the operation of the listing and confirms that they are entitled to grant this permission.
5.2. By accepting these terms, the supplier also grants non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use the listing’s photographs and texts in GoGetParty’s online advertising, banners and social media to promote the offer and the platform. Online publications may be accessible in different countries. Cropping photographs, adding logos and captions and shortening text are permitted provided the offer is not misrepresented. GoGetParty pays for the advertising.
5.3. The supplier can opt out of external advertising by contacting [email protected] while keeping the listing. When the listing is deleted, new advertising use stops and active advertisements are disabled. Upon request, advertising is disabled and the specified posts are removed within three working days. Existing ordinary posts may remain until removal is requested.
5.4. These terms do not authorise the use of third-party materials without the rights holder’s permission and do not replace the necessary grounds for using images of people. For materials added independently by the team, permission for advertising use is obtained before the advertising starts.
6. Complaints and restrictions
6.1. Complaints can be submitted through the website’s contact form or by email to [email protected]. Identify the material, its location, the reason and any necessary supporting information. For notices of illegal content, also provide your name and email address, except where a legal exception applies, and confirm that the information is accurate and submitted in good faith.
6.2. In the event of a violation, GoGetParty may request corrections, hide a listing or restrict an account. A complaint alone does not establish a violation. Decisions are made manually and the user is informed of the reason. Decisions can be challenged via [email protected], and the team will review the matter again. Statutory remedies remain available.
6.3. Where the relationship with a supplier falls within Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, reasons for restrictions are provided on a durable medium and, as a rule, at least 30 days’ notice is given before the complete termination of services, subject to the exceptions provided for in that Regulation.
7. Changes to the terms and termination of use
7.1. GoGetParty is responsible for its own obligations under the law. Technical interruptions may occur; these terms do not establish a percentage uptime guarantee or exclude liability that cannot be limited.
7.2. Account deletion can be requested via [email protected] or [email protected]. It is currently carried out by an administrator. Retained data is described in the Privacy Policy. Closing an account does not cancel obligations under contracts already concluded.
7.3. Users are notified in advance of material changes to the terms. For suppliers covered by Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, notice is provided on a durable medium at least 15 days in advance, or longer where necessary, subject to statutory exceptions and the right to terminate the relationship. Fresh consent is obtained separately where required.
7.4. Latvian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection. Contacting GoGetParty does not restrict the right to contact a competent authority or a court.
