DJ David Leton – Music That Adapts to People, Not People to a Playlist

I’m Davids Zalitis, aka DJ David Leton – a professional open-format DJ with experience in weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, PR events and brand activations in Latvia and internationally.

For me, DJing is much more than simply playing music. My role is to read the crowd, understand the dynamics of the event and use music to create the right atmosphere – from the arrival of the first guests to the peak of the party.

Every event is different, which is why I don’t work with one fixed playlist or formula. Before the event, we discuss your musical preferences, audience and overall concept. During the event, I adapt the music in real time to the guests and the energy on the dance floor.

Experience & Education:

In 2021, I graduated from Riga DJ School, developing my DJ skills through both individual and group training. In 2022, I completed the Advanced DJ Course at Rhythm Institute, and in 2026 I am continuing my professional development with a Music Production course at Rhythm Institute.

I have worked across Latvia, Spain and Italy, performing at weddings, international private events, corporate celebrations, PR events, brand activations and other projects. This international experience has taught me how to work with guests of different nationalities, generations and musical tastes.

Weddings:

No two couples are the same – and no two wedding DJ sets should be either.

Before your wedding, we discuss your favourite music, special songs and, just as importantly, the music you definitely don’t want to hear. You are welcome to share your own playlist, which helps me understand your musical taste while still giving me the freedom to read the room and respond to the dance floor throughout the event.

I can provide music for the guest arrival, ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner, special moments and the evening party, creating a seamless musical atmosphere throughout the day.

As an open-format DJ, I can move between 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s classics, disco and funk, pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, house, dance, Latin and current hits. My goal is to find the music that brings different generations together on the same dance floor.

Corporate & Private Events:

I also perform at corporate events, company parties, PR events, presentations, private celebrations and brand activations.

Depending on the event, the DJ can provide anything from elegant background music to becoming the driving force behind the main party. For corporate events, I place particular emphasis on professionalism, timing, technical quality, communication with organisers and seamless integration with the overall event programme.

Sound, Lighting & Technical Production:

In addition to DJ services, I can provide a complete professional sound and lighting service, allowing the music, sound and visual atmosphere to work together as one carefully planned solution.

Depending on the event, I can provide professional PA systems, subwoofers, DJ equipment, wireless microphones, dance floor lighting, moving heads, LED ambient lighting, as well as separate sound and lighting solutions for different areas of the venue.

Every technical setup is tailored to the venue, number of guests, size of the space, programme and overall event concept – from intimate private celebrations to larger-scale events.

If your event includes a live band, singer or other performer, I can also arrange the required technical equipment according to the artist’s technical rider, including stage and additional production solutions where necessary.

Quality and attention to detail are important to me. For larger projects, we can also arrange a site visit in advance to plan the technical setup and ensure everything is prepared properly before the event.

I can simply be your DJ. I can provide DJ + sound + lighting. Or I can take care of a broader technical solution for your entire event.

The goal is simple – you shouldn’t have to worry about the music or technical details. You should be able to enjoy your event together with your guests.
